The largest on-campus solar facility in the Southeastern Conference is converting sunlight into electricity to generate renewable, sustainable power on Mississippi State University's campus.
The 37,000 square foot facility will provide a new space for the Department of music which will include classrooms, faculty and administrative offices, choral rehearsal hall, sound-proof practice rooms, recital hall, and a recording studio.
The MSU-SOCSD Partnership School promises to impact the future of education in our state and in our community, investing in the educational experience of our middle school students to create one of most innovative schools from programs to facilities.
The 27,300 square foot facility is part of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences complex on Blackjack Road, joining the recent completed Animal and Dairy Science Building and the Meat Science and Muscle Biology Lab.
The new project will provide state-of-the-art facilities for MSU’s James Worth Bagley College of Engineering, continuing the university’s historic strength in this field.
